Cor, I'm shattered today. We went on a surprise visit to nanny and grandad Ball yesterday. Not sure who was surprised the most, them or me. Get in the car thinking we're probably going to the park or something. Next thing I know, feeling a bit groggy and disorientated, I'm sitting out number 36. Well, I was pretty excited once I'd got my bearings. There was nanny, just the way I remember her. Well, it's been a week and a half since she left family Chapman to fend for itself and I thought she might have changed. Didn't take me long to get over the shock and I was soon hurtling round the house causing havoc. Can't wait til Zoe can keep up. She just barely manages it at the moment care off mum or dad's arms. Nanny kept up though so that was good. Thought she might not manage it on account of having been up half the night walking round a park (for charity, I hasten to add). Now, I'm all for parks as you know but at two in the morning. Well that's just not right. Everyone should be tucked up in bed. Apparently she enjoyed it so that's the main thing (I guess)!
So after lunch (not too keen as the old gnashers are killing me at the moment) we all went down to the seaside. First time I've been there since I could walk. I was quite impressed, especially when Jasper the dog went flying into the water. That brought smile to my face. I thought about joining him but nanny had a pretty tight grip, so I just watched instead. I've got such a 'doing' head on at the moment but don't seem to be allowed to 'do' very much (that looks exciting anyway). Can't work out why. So then they took me to the playground. Grandad and Jasper weren't allowed in so I had to play with nanny instead. Then I got tired and had to be carried back to the car. Dad's quite good at that, even though he moans how heavy I am. Wait til I get older, then you'll see what heavy really is!
Then back to the Ball's for dinner and a play and then home. Short and sweet. Found it a devil of a job getting to sleep properly on the drive home (Zoe, on the other hand, seemed to have no such problem). This has left me feeling very tired and not much in the mood to play, even at my weekly Sporty Tots meeting. Combine that with the teeth and I just want bed which is where I'm off to now!
Might write later,
Ta ta
