Oh, Dad!

Now, I'm not one to complain (honestly). But dad forgot to pack any normal nappies in my swim bag. Not a problem as there were loads of swim nappies which he thought would suffice (as did I). So I'm wearing one of these confounded things in creche when I realised that my trousers are wet through! What the ....? It would seem that, NO, swim nappies are not to be worn outside the aquatic environment as they offer about as much waterproofing as soggy rice paper! Thanks dad (but at least he'd packed spare trousers, so I'll let him off. Eventually!).

Thursday is swim day

Wasn't as up for it today as I usually am. I've lost almost my voice and feel a bit under the weather so me and dad got out a bit early. Much to dad's surprise I was right up for playing in creche so he was happy about that coz it means he gets his cuppa and a sit down. Zoe was just on her way to sleep when I went in so I woke her up. It's what brothers are for isn't it. I love her really! She been a bit ill this week so maybe I should lay off a bit. But I figure that actually that would be a dereliction of duty. So, carry on! I can feel a big sleep coming up this afternoon. Dads hoping so! Mum's gone away. School conference or some such! I think it's just an excuse to get away from the family for a couple of days. Then she's home ALL next week for half term. Yay! We're going visiting everybody and there seems to be a certain amount of wafflage  involved (both the eating and talking kind I'm sure). So until the next time I bid you farewell.
