At home now

So, back at home and on the big 'puter. Just makes it a bit easier to put the photos on but.... it worked on the mobile.
Yesterday Zoe had her first walk in 'the sling'. I always quite enjoyed it but she just slept. Anyway, what do I care? I had my new 97p football with me. It's great. All I have to do now is learn how to kick it and I'll be known as the next Wayne Rooney (except better looking)!
This morning Zoe had her first bath while I was locked in the shower
which was mean (well I locked myself in but, well....). Not sure whether she enjoyed it or not, bit of a blank stare into space. Probably all that food in her belly. The health visitor came round yesterday and said she was putting on weight. Well now, that's a surprise!
Then we went to see Jo, Joel and Elliott who had the pleasure of my company for the night before Zoe was born (so thank you, you were very accommodating to my strange requests). Zoe met Joel and Elliott for the first time and I played and played and played. The hoover (see previous post) was a particular favourite. I could turn it on and off. On and off. On and off. On and ...... well, you get the idea! Then onto see Kate who's one of mum';s friends. She's just had a baby so mum was going to see that one. You'd think she'd have seen enough of new babies. Anyway, I didn't see anything coz I was zonked out in the car with dad. Then we went to the garden centre to look for something for Nanny Chapman for Mother's Day (didn't realise she was a mum too. Thought she was just Nanny). And who should we bump into but the whole Jeffrey clan out for a jolly, all five of them. We had some fun together, even though kept throwing elephant away from me (they did that last time I met them. I'm starting to consider my friendship with them. Don't mess with the 'phant man!).
By this point mum was flagging a bit and dad was getting a bit anxious that he was going to miss the rugby so we all went home for tea. Speaking of which, I've really got my appetite back so tea went on a bit tonight. Bit of a play and bed leaving Zoe up late again. No wonder she sleeps so much during the day. She doesn't go to bed until dad does. Outrageous!
Take it easy y'all,
D
