Strange times
There's a lot of talk about lots of things at the moment. It's all a little concerning for my little brain. It would seem that we will be going on a plane (I like the sound of that), to a new house (I like the sound of that too). But apparently when I get home form nanny and granddad's today, all my toys will have gone along with all my precious books! Well, that's not right is it? They're going on a holiday, so mum and dad say. Holiday? They're inanimate objects, what on earth would they need a holiday for. Something weird's going on and I can't do a thing about it. I'll just have to wait until I get home then kick up a stink that I've got nothing to read! Holiday, well really! I'm sure they won't have got rid of my favourite stuff. They can't be that stupid. I need them for being quiet.
On Monday I had a fantastic day with Aunty Jill and cousin Jack. We went to Wisley RHS, which on the face of it didn't sound too interesting. It's massive garden as it turns out and with my recent interest in all things green-fingered, this was the place for me on a sunny Monday morning. Huge wouldn't do it justice, it was really, really big! First of all Jack and I ran around like loonies, then when we calmed down we ran around some more. Lakes with massive fishes in them, loads of steps and wide open spaces to go 'weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee' in (no, not that type, I am potty trained you know!). Then, I could barely believe my eyes, a greenhouse before me. Probably even bigger than nanny and granddad's one. Just. If you look carefully you can just see the people standing outside.
It was full of weird and wonderful plants. I even found a cocoa plant which Aunty Jill reckons chocolate comes from. I think she might have been having me on, but I took a leaf for mum just in case. That got me into trouble. No pleasing some people! One of the areas was really warm and muggy. Dad says it'll be like that all the time where we're going and says this link shows what he's on about click here. Yeah, right, wait until it snows at Christmas dad! Then we went to the caves and I got lost which was a bit worrying. Dad said it would teach me to run away. But I doubt that very much!
After that it was picnic time. I ate a lot. Mostly grapes and strawberries. Zoe in true fashion ate for England. She even helped herself to dads pasta salad. That didn't go down well (with him anyway, it did with Zoe!). Then Jack and I ran around some more. Brilliant! Below is the view from what Jack calls the curly wurly (no chocolate involved).
Its a spiral of earth that you can run round and round to get up to the top and then round and round to get back down the other side. Doesn't make much sense when I say it like that and I sure was dizzy after a few goes. Jack sure runs fast. Couldn't keep up with him.
Then ice-cream and home. I zonked out as soon as my head hit the proverbial pillow (or in this case, car-seat), so did Zoe which meant dad had a nice, quiet drive home.

Footy
Dan seems to have a lot of football on the tele at the moment. He says it's the world cup. Must be a very big cup I reckon. Anyway, to say Bob the Builder isn't getting a look in is an understatement. I'm having to find other ways of entertaining myself like, playing! It's so unfair!

More than a week?
How can I have not blogged for over a week? Crazy! Must be because dad's been hogging the computer. Mum and dad seem to be busy and I seem to be ending up in nursery more and more. It's OK, Sophie and Fran are great and Zoe seems pretty happy. Indeed, she out did me in the showing off stakes when Michelle came and babysat for us last Saturday night. She went nuts when Michell walked in the door. I was doing head-stands and she was doing bouncing and rolly-pollys round the floor!
To be honest it's bit of a nightmare getting on the computer to blog these days! Mum and dad constantly seem to ahve something to do and my blog is losing out! Well, it's not on.
While I think about it, Zoe can now climb the stairs. I kid you not. Now, this might sound cute, but, trust me it's not. How can I nick her toys and hide them on the stairs? I can't anymore. Come to think of it that might have been the catalyst last Friday to get her climbing. Hmmmm, cause and effect. An expansive subject I think. Might have to explore it further. Later! Here's some video of the girl climbing. God help us all!

Butterfly World
I like Butterfly World, although the butterflies weren't exactly forthcoming today. Bit cold for them I think. Anyway, loved running around and still haven't wet myself sans nappy!

Zoe says.....
Dan got a new Dump Truck, all I got was this lousy pair of glasses that don't fit properly!
Dump Truck
Brilliant afternoon out culminating in me getting a new toy. A great big Dump Truck! It does loads of stuff including making noise (don't think mum and dad have discovered the mute button yet!).
Think it's fair to say I'm dead chuffed with it!
Last week
Wow, what a busy week it was last week! Feel like my feet hardly touched the ground. It all started when nanny and granddad and Jasper turned up on Saturday. No sooner had they arrived than dad walked out the front door and I didn't see him again til Sunday. I always thought he got on alright with them (apparently he went to see some rugby, but I'm not sure I believe him. He was out all day!). The remaining family went to see some butterflies in St Albans. It called Butterfly World and I for one thought it was fab. They were everywhere. We're going back tomorrow and this time dad's coming. We asked other nanny and granddad but forgot that granddad has a bit of a phobia of butterflies and moths (have a look here if you don't like the winged beauties either - I Hate Butterflies! )..... so maybe not!
On Sunday dad disappeared again! This time with mum, so we went to the park and had some fun while mum and dad lived it up in London. I don't know, as dad said when nanny and granddad left, if they hadn't been here, he wouldn't have gone out so much. I'm not sure how they took that to be honest!
On Monday I went to see Alfie and Jack to play in the sun. Boy, it was hot. Fortunately, Alfie had his paddling pool and bouncy castle set up, so I spent all morning splashing about and throwing buckets of water about. Brilliant! Wasn't half tired afterwards though and couldn't even finish my Thomas the Tank Engine cake before I conked out in the car.
On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday both mum and dad were at work so Zoe and I ended up variously in nursery and being looked after by Alfie and Jade. Good fun, but I'm paying for it now, think Zoe is too. Can barely keep our eyes open. More sleep and less excitement needed I think.
Plus, on Friday, it was decided (without my consultation, I hasten to add), that I was going to be potty trained over half term. Not only that but the flippin' dummy fairies have stolen my dummy. It only seems to appear on my pillow when it's time for bed. I don't know how they do it but it's making me a bit grumpy on occasion (as dad will testify to in the car, stuck traffic. I was quite insistent that I have it, he was quite insistent that he hadn't got it!).
Yesterday was just a chilled day at home which I was quite grateful for. Zoe did some painting while I got lumbered with the washing up. Nice!

Hmmmm
This is all turning into harder work than I thought. And it's getting hot out here. Dad keeps saying things like 'you wait til we get to Singapore'. No idea what he's banging on about!
