Well,
what a day that was! All sorts going on! Auntie Charlene drove all the way from Alsager, which is apparently 'up north'. Not sure what that means, but she was mad for it. She seems really nice and has a family of her own with two boys. Can't wait to meet 'em! She was only here for two hours but we did loads. She helped me with my first bath (mum & dad weren't too sure what to do). I was a bit apprehensive at first (I'd developed my own special aroma), but actually it was quite relaxing. The only strange thing was Auntie Charlene insisting on smelling my head after it had been shampoo'd. Maybe it's a lucky thing, I don't know, she's seems fairly stable apart from that. Then we went walkies and I got too try out my Bugaboo. Boy that suspension's good. I just slept all the way. Which wasn't too far coz mum's still a bit tired after getting me out. But it was good to get into the fresh air and mum & Auntie seemed to enjoy the natter. Dad seemed to enjoy driving, unless he was just trying to get away from the women. No sooner had I had lunch than another auntie turned up(there seem to be quite a few materialising). This one had come from Poole (mum's home town so I've heard) and her name was Fleur. She was a bit worried about how to pick me up (so I feared the worst), but she was OK and kept singing and talking to me in strange voices. I quite liked that and promptly fell asleep. I could try some chat-up lines but frankly looking cute and falling asleep seems to do the job just as well and is a lot less effort! I've heard she's on the look out for a man so if I play my cards right...... Then, well as if I hadn't seen enough people in my house. The entire Jeffrey clan turned up! Stone me, there's five of 'em. And two of them are only a bit older than me. I'm telling you it was like pass-the-baby. Even I couldn't keep up and I was one of them. It doesn't help that they're identical twins, but they seem like good lads, I'm sure we'll have a beer and a kick about soon. Then dad went out for Chinese (of which I shall be getting my share later I'm sure, no prawn crackers though which was disappointing).
And that was it, I'm knackered and will shortly repair to my mother for supper. Good night!
