Another fun day in Dan world. Having spent the previous night with the grandparents (I was convinced something was going to happen but apparently dad just wanted to go out), this morning I went to 'Sporty Tots'. I went last week but didn't really get it. This week I really got into it and had great fun with the hula-hoops, bells, balls and dancing, not to mention the bubbles at the end. Mum and dad looked suitably surprised as I followed the teacher round the hall copying her. Obviously I could have done that last week but just couldn't be bothered! Good laugh though.
Then lunch and a quick kip (didn't feel sleepy today which is odd seeing as I woke up at 3:30 this morning for no apparent reason. I was so chuffed and happy I'd woken up I decided to let mum and dad know too. They didn't share my enthusiasm :( so i carried on chatting and singing, loudly). After that dad took me for a walk to Boxmoor (Blackbirds Moor actually) and down to the canal where I achieved a couple of firsts. I threw sticks and stones and mud in the canal (which wasn't easy with dad holding on so tight I can tell you!), the mud was that dark, moist, heavy with decomposing vegetation type stuff that the gardeners love. Imagine my surprise when it ended up in my mouth! Sure dad must have jogged me or something. One minute it's heading towards the water, next minute, gag, gag, splutter, splutter. I swallowed it of course. Only decent thing to do, couldn't spit it out, just wouldn't do. Dad didn't help by insisting on jamming his fingers in my mouth, could barely swallow the stuff.
Then home for tea, happy days. Where is my sister, she should be here by now!
