Ah, the sun, the sea, the pampering by the grandparents. What a
lovely way to spend a couple of days by the seaside. Finally discovered that I can
in fact sleep all night without waking the folks for food. They're happy about that development! Uncle Neil turned up on his way to the
NEC. He was really pleased to see me. He's soft and
squidgy, I like that. What a nice time. Really sunny and I had my first taste of the sea air. It made me really sleepy, it'll do that to you apparently. Went for lots of walks and nanny got my feet wet with sea water.
There'll be plenty more of that in the coming years I fancy. Auntie Carol popped over for dinner in the evening. She was nice and gave me cuddles when I got a bit grumpy (they were eating, I wasn't.
Nuff said!). It's a lovely place and I got taken care of really well which was just as well as mum & dad
snuck out to go for coffee on Friday morning..... without me!! What a liberty, first sniff of freedom and they're off like startled rabbits! That was OK
coz I got dragged round the neighbourhood and said hello to all the neighbours. 'Pops' (mum's
preferred term for grandad?!) was really proud. Mum & dad came back though and we went for lunch overlooking Poole quay. Very nice. Nanny's birthday celebrations apparently. Well, I didn't think much of the food so I slept all the way through, impressing all the party guests (isn't it amazing how easy that is at the moment?). I only woke up when everyone started singing happy birthday to nanny. Mum had a glass of wine which went to her head and made her all sleepy (although she says it was the sea air). Little walk afterwards and wouldn't you know it. The moment my back's turned the parents disappear and I and wake up to find nanny and someone called Geraldine sneaking me off through Poole park. Crumbs, can't those two talk though? I couldn't get a word in
edgewise. I'm sure I've said that before earlier in my blog about other women.
Hmmm, I'll have to watch that. Well, I g

ot grumpy again on Friday night and even 'Pops' got involved in trying to settle me down. But by midnight I'd completely chilled out and crashed out until the morning. I'm so kind to the folks. I slept and slept and so did mum & dad. Then it was time to leave..... seemed like no time since we'd arrived. So they strapped me back into my magic chair (which also sends me to sleep) and we got in the car. Imagine my surprise when Nanny got in next to me! She was coming with us and now she's back,
chez Chapman. Plenty of fussing to come I think. Sounds like dad's back to work tomorrow, he'll be happy about that! Nearly dinner time for the grown-ups, smells like roast chicken to me. Yum, I'll
have some of that later on! Bye for now!

Hello Chapmans
Sorry I haven't been to see you yet, between school and MA (performance next Sat) life has been rather hectic. Daniel looks soooo lovely, well done you two. Will give you a call soon to arrange a time to come over. Lots of love
